Thanks, but favving a simple sketch? Kinda seems like a waste, but I'm honored anyway.

You've got far more understanding than she has. She'd do good to learn from you.

I'm not a teacher, but she can look if she wants to and she can ask away whatever she wants. I'm not very good at explaining myself, though. I just go with the flow of what I see fit. I didn't even consider if my understanding of shape is the same for everybody, I don't think so, but it's interesting to see different versions.

Your anatomy is very nice in this picture and DF's is... not nearly as good. You may not be a teacher, but she'd do good to learn through observation.

Hm, I dunno. I used to disregard her skills a lot, but I think she has some potential, if she decides to explore it. I mean, she does have some idea of construction and all that. I think the problem at hand is that she hasn't fully understood why use construction lines. I know a lof of young artists who throw lines, axis and circles all around the paper, but end up with a badly constructed drawing anyway, or a character that looks dead, because they haven't gone through the whole process to understand why you use those lines. It's almost like they use them because you know artists use them. But they don't pick up on the motivation behind it.
If you skip or lack observation, I can only hope that learning through example is enough

Oh, and I like the right bangs better than all the years I've done them.

Heh, I just simplified to suit my lazy skills.

Well, I know the reason I gave her a longer waist is that I'm trying to show that she's not a teen but a 30 year old woman, but this. . . I kinda like the shape.

Well, there are all sorts of mature women, haha. When I draw older girls, I prefer to give them bigger thighs and/or shorter legs for the effect of a stronger frame.
