I actually gave Azula a son in my headcanon (which is in the middle of being rewritten on FanFiction)! ^^ However, he has light brown hair and looks like his dad (except he has Azula's eye color and her crooked smile). His father happens to be someone who is in the Avatar series, but who could it be...? XD Guess!
I think your concept his quite handsome.

No, there isn't really anything wrong with giving Azula a firstborn daughter, but in all honesty, that's what most artists and FanFiction authors give her. No matter who she gets paired with, Azula's children more typically lean female in the head canons of fans, which makes the concept dull, because the reasoning is usually the same or somewhere along the same strand: the child becomes more relatable to her troubles in a typically male-dominated society where men are the ones with all the titles. And if she has more than one child, it is usually the female child (or children) that play the larger role, whereas the male children's roles are rarely pertinent to the story or the art. Try perusing FanFiction's Azula stories; I have, and I promise you that the majority of the stories that focus on motherhood for the princess (and they are few and far between at best) will feature her firstborn (or most of her children) as female.
Maybe I'm biased, seeing as my head canon already features Azula with a firstborn son, but it is the rarer concept to work with. By default, we know Azula is both uncomfortable and even somewhat distrusting of males. Depending on the manner in which she is impregnated -by force of rape, arranged marriage, through a romance developed honestly -giving her sons branches many more possibilities for her character. How significantly different would her reactions be to harboring the son of, say, a man who raped her, as opposed to the selfsame man's daughter? She would be far more distrusting of this boy at first, but may or may not learn to love him later. A good idea for a plot in an arranged marriage would be that any of her sons would have the freedom to dictate to whom they'd be married, whereas she and any daughter she would rear would have no choice given the societal customs between the sexes. She could be jealous of them, spite them for being male, clinging empathetically to her female children because they are more relatable.
In conclusion, I never explicitly said that giving Azula daughters was wrong. I simply said that the reasons for doing so have been overly beat to a pulp, done before. In truth, being that Azula's character in Avatar canon is still shrouded in mystery, no one quite knows if she will ever be granted the opportunity to procreate at all between the timeframes of A:TLA and LoK. Who knows what Mike and Bryan have in store for her.

The Search Pt 1 was okay. But only because Azula is, thankfully, her usual imposing self. That bull about Zuko not being Ozai's made me laugh out loud.
I doubt there's anything in Rebound that will make me even neutral towards Mai (disliked her the whole time, and it only culminated when she betrayed Azula)

Still not explaining anything to me. Zuko being melodramatic asking aang to kill him is actually quite in character... And if he had killed him, we would've went on another storyline, which could still be connected to Republic City later with a tiny weeny bit of imagination... Him changing his mind multiple times, locking down the city also is, too; it's still a 16-17 yr old kid that has no fucking clue what he's doing,
The characters are kids, not masterminds of war or politics, pray keep that in mind. If you want cold, calculating, and bright, go watch Dexter instead.... not a show that was -and still is- intended for kids. :/
(and it's not because some random guy whines like a bitch for two pages that it makes it more solid of an argument... T_T )
