I heard that Maylene Autumn (known as Forlorn Maiden at Fanfiction.net) was passed away couple of days ago. I feel so sad. I don't know her personally, yet I've read most of her Avatar fanfictions. I didn't read lots fanfiction cus I got some terrble with reading English fiction, But her words and stories is Amazing. So bad there is no chance to know the end of some stories.what if I could know you earlier.
This is how I feel Maylene's Azula, so much the same as I feel her.
farewell, Rest in peace
It reminds me one of my friend and life guide, who had told me that I can choose my own path and encouraged me to start my art career. But she's gone forever.
please appreciate what you have now.

I was really good friends with Maylene (or Kathleen, as is her real name) online, and we exchanged a lot of pm's back and forth. She inspired a lot of my fanfics, and was just a really good person to talk to in general. I really miss her a lot, even now, 6 months later, I'm always wishing I could pm her just to talk to her, share ideas, or just ask how she's doing. I cried when I found out she passed away. It's still so hard to believe it.
The Azula you drew is exactly how she perceived her to be. I know she would have been very honored to have received something like this, and I'm faving it on her behalf.

Maylene Autumn was Forlorn Maiden?!
Damn, I read most of her fanfictions, and some where really great, specially "The Pain of Loving You", "Seasons of Love" and mostly "ε°ε©" because it gave an original turn on Azula and Iroh relationship.
