First upload of summer break (OYEAH). I wanted to make a thing of Mdme. Leota because I simply don't draw her enough. Also colored with good ol' pencils because I don't do that enough of non-digital either. Shame my scanner sucks behind, though.Leota © Disney,

Also, is there even a scanner out there that captures how our human eyes see colored pencil pigments as opposed to how a scanner would, making them all grainy and capturing more of the gritty white of the paper rather than the true, deep colors?

There is a theory that she tried to cast a spell on the Ghost Host to trap his spirit in the crystal ball when they were both alive. Thing is, the spell was cast at the precise moment the Ghost Host hung himself. With its original target gone, the spell rebounded back to Leota, trapping her in her own crystal ball.

There isn't an official story behind that, so I'm sorry to say I wouldn't know. I'm sure there are fan stories floating about somewhere that theorize it, though. Perhaps it isn't her actual head, but just her soul imprisoned inside a crystal ball? I dunno.
