lol! it is something random i thought and have to draw XDI was just wondering that if "Mario Bros." were a cliche harem anime series, these will be the characters XD :
The hero: Mario (duh)
the comic relief: Luigi
The heroine: Peach
The athlete/competitive: Daisy
The flirter: Pauline
The shy/princess type: Rosalina
The smart one: Birdo
The lolita: Toadette
The Rebel: Piranha plant (im sure there should be at least 1 female p. plant XD)
btw why all the human characters of Mario have blue eyes? :S (even Luigi but i mistake and colored them green before i noticed XD but personally i prefer them like that)

Where to begin with your style of these Mario characters...first thing about it, it's pretty great.
Mario got rid of the moustache and has a red shirt with blue jeans, so he really is a hero of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Luigi (Mario's bro) grew up to be a comic relief and did a victory pose.
Peach the princess, is a great heroine. She saved Mario back in Super Princess Peach.
Daisy (princess of Sarasaland) is a competitive athlete who used to beat Luigi in a race.
Pauline began to become a flirter of Mario. (although Peach is actually Mario's hero)
Birdo the smart girl knows how to read. She even taught Yoshi to do that also. (Yoshi's not in there, but alright)
I don't think Toadette can change in this look. She seems to have a great time with her pal, Toad.
The Piranha Plant is an enemy in the Mario series who was a rebel who prayed for hope.

I imagine that that bowser is the perverted one that only wants peach along with Wario which is your tipical ugly fat perv who wants all of them and Waluigi which is the one who thinks is romantic but no one likes him and only wants Daisy

Except maybe Birdo... XD She's referred to as a 'He' in the earlier Japanese versions. Clearly they didn't want to be confusing us simple westerners with it's androgynous looks, so made it female. ^^ LOL He was labelled officially as 'A boy who likes to dress as a girl'. Those crazy japanese character designers XD

LOL nobody has any idea on Birdo's gender anymore. XD But Nintendo used to use the 'he' form of Kanji to refer to Birdo. That's also like Bridget from the Guilty Gear series
