"It was telling the last thing I noticed about him was that he was half-Deer, half-Unicorn. His cutie-mark was the gold skull of an ape with a rose in its teeth with the steam circling around the skull in a ring of thorns, with a bat wing and dove wing going opposite ways behind the skull, with the skull crying a single tear of blood with crossed swords behind the whole mess."General Admiral Makarov is the second in command of the Hooviets and the main antagonist of the Shining Armor Arc of the Pony POV Series. After being slighted by Shining Armor, this Parody Villain Sue dedicates himself to killing Shining. However, Makarov's true motives and nature are far more sinister, and his Cutie Mark's complexity may owe to more than just him being a Parody Sue.
This was complicated! I tried to make it a bit gaudy and garish. While it'd make a cool tattoo, it DEFINITELY makes for a good Cutie Mark for a Parody Sue, as well as being too complex to even BE a Cutie Mark a normal pony would have.

That cutie mark is so over the top that it becomes funny again.
It is simply too much at the same time and goes beyond cool and into the territory of comedy and parody. The rose and the tear of blood... not to mention the golden skull itself...

Agreed, he is a Parody Sue, so that makes sense.
Though when you think about it, this is kind of creepy as well given how he probably GOT a Cutie Mark this complex.

Read the chapter and the first thing I thought after reading the description of Makarov' cutie mark was that cutie mark is too cool to be real. It has to be fake and he is clearing over overcompensating for something. What he is overcompensating for? Who knows but it is probably sexual related as she wouldn't stop talking about genitals around Shining Armor.

Also, I used an actual russian sword called a kindjal as the base for the swords behind everything. I figured since you always put so much effort into researching stuff for this, I probably should at least put a little into this

Technically the spike ring was supposed to be part of the rose stem, but this still completely works.

I think there's a typo then, because the description says steam is circling the skull, rather than a stem.
I think the ring being a sperate piece works a little better, as it makes it less congruent.

Well, Makarov is pretty much an entity that consumes existences, his Cutie Mark is so complex likely because its composed of the ones of some of his victims.
