Description
The Ferreters are a group of exclusive vigilante bounty hunters, carefully cherry picked by a mysterious individual they simply refer to as Alpha. With Alpha as their client, they scour the galaxy, traveling to different locations across the stars to take out criminals, mafias, and other nefarious crime groups.
Sable Kolleen is one of their two front-liners, capable of taking out groups of enemies thanks to her martial arts training and deadly hardlight claws. Out of the entire group, she's the most distant out of them, mostly tending to herself and acting on her own on most occasions. To some of her peers, she's commonly referred to as "the moody type that stands in the corner of the room and scoffs." To that, she scoffs at such claims.
Tia Valentina is the medic of the group. Her artificial, interchangeable arms and traveling medipack make her the perfect combat medic for emergency operations on the field, and more intense ones in her own laboratory. She has saved numerous lives, even the ones of her fellow Ferreters, on numerous occasions. Outside of combat, Tia is shy and soft-spoken, but kindhearted and sweet. Though she isn't good at diffusing interpersonal conflicts, she is good at individually consoling others.
Twila Uleaven is the person they call upon for operations where the Ferreters simply need something destroyed. With her heavy cybernetic implants, nanomachines and specially modified keytar, she is capable of taking out large groups of enemies, mechs, buildings, and other superpowered individuals that the others couldn't take. Almost fittingly, she's the most energetic, boisterous, and loudest out of the five. She is as good at breaking the ice and talking to others as she is playing her signature keytar, albeit she tends to come across as invasive and seductive at times.
Niles Atkins acts as both the sniper and the de facto leader of the Ferreters out in the field. With his plasma sniper rifle, he's capable of taking out foes from miles upon miles away, unnoticed and unable to be traced or seen. Unlike his peers, he's extremely good at settling conflicts between members as well as planning and strategy on the fly. Even compared to Sable, he's very calm, confident and level headed, usually wearing a smile under that face mask during social outings.
August Ore rounds out the team as their tech expert. With his wide array of drones, he can do anything from hacking and dismantling to puzzle solving and surveillance. If push comes to shove, he even has units specialized for combat. Underneath his cold, serious and deadpan robotic exterior, he's one of, if not, the most brilliant mind in the entire galaxy. He invented instant teleportation, perfected existing technology, and even claims to have simulated a perfect model of a working dyson sphere. Yet he refuses to share his discoveries and inventions to the rest of the world, and nobody truly knows why.

The Ferreters round out the main supporting cast of Gaze, the sci-fi webcomic I have in the making. Many of them are returning characters I had from my old "Estrella Fantasia" setting , including the general idea of the Ferreters themselves. The only one who isn't exactly a returning character is Tia; she was given to me by my friend since he didn't have a home for her. I decided she'd be a fun fit for Gaze alongside this reborn cast of characters.
What roles will they continue to serve? How will they tie into Avilia and Cyrus's side of the story? Find out when Gaze finally starts releasing!
