I have been viewing your gallery and the work is beautifully amazing.
The works you have done using the matte/low sheen black boxes and bowl for some reason reminds me very strongly of my collection of Russian lacquer items which are of the folk vegetation forms. Very different things but the black works amazingly to draw the eye to the colour!
