Design trade with Nyx35 ! Hope you like it!

Had a lot of fun designing this gal! I've been dappling more into pink color palettes, it's been fun! Went with a noodle dragon + cherry blossom theme, and I quite like how she turned out!

Also Nyx if you want a version without the name Sakura then just let me know! ^^

Design/character notes:

- Gave her an eastern dragon build inspired by the snakes in the moodboard

- Gave her heat pits on her snout/a snake inspired head to reference the snakes in the moodboard

- Gave her feathered wings inspired by the winged snake in the moodboard

- Hood inspired by a snake

- Cherry blossom markings on shoulders and hind legs

- Wanted to go for a cute and soft vibe

- Gave her hawk-like back talons to provide extra interest to her design

- Has a chubby build

- Tall, emotive ears that poke up through her silhouette to make it more recognizable

- Edges of underbelly have a feather-like shape

- Tail is long and flexible (and potentially prehensile if you wish)

- Paw pad base color is the golden yellow. While the shading and highlights are just that, you can make then into patterns if you wish!

- A very sweet and friendly gal, very optimistic and almost always in a good mood

- Loves people and things strongly, and is very emotional. She wears her heart on her... well she doesn't quite have sleeves

- This also means she feels negative emotions strongly. Mess with her friends and she is a fiend. She does not forgive slights easily

- Shape language is very rounded to give that friendly look, with the shard-edged talons to hint at that grudge-filled side of her

- Probably uses cherry or peach scented perfume

- Glasses are at 50% opacity, and made with a combination of blending and hard edges

- Tails and limbs gradate from the base color to white

- (The eyebrows are not segmented off, that is just the bottom curve of the ear. They can be though if you wish!)

Doing the fire was fun! Been diving into more effects type art. Used some of the colors from the moodboard provided, and then it evolved from there.
