Description

A little bit a story behind this one, I originally wasn't planning on drawing Immortan Joe at all, rather, I was thinking on drawing a random guy with a respirator/mask, that was similar to Joe's. Only, I may have went a little crazy with the eyes, and it no longer felt right to use the mask that looked far too simple, compared to the eyes, so, I've ultimately decided to go for a full Immortan Joe fan art. Definitely the first time I went for a more detailed work, and quite happy with the end result!

Started sketching and the initial lines with an HB mechanical pencil. While I was sketching out the teeth, a day or two later, I decide to darken some areas around the eyes, with a 2B mechanical pencil. From that point on, I used the HB pencil to sketch and shade, and the 2B pencil to enhance the permanent lines and darken areas.

A bit of hue/saturation adjustment in PS, just to give it a little color!
