Hi there! I've picked one of my design and decided to push it toward a necromancer. At first, it was a lot of research and development for the costumes, spent a few days gathering and collecting images here and there. With those references I was able to come up with two main costumes. I tried to design staves but for now I'm not really good with that haha but I hope that eventually ideas will come up to me more naturally. I already know which design I'll go forward with and I can't wait to show you guy.Character thumbnails ideas:

I really like the first one very much the details are leveled out really well though your designs seem rather filtered out like the designs don't vary enough of the different types of necromancers.
Maybe you can add scrolls or scripture marks on her body. Chains are also a good option as necromancers bound the souls back to their undead body to either raise them back or use them as weapons. Necromancers also can create apparitions and also their style of magic is most closely related to shamanism so maybe vary the cultures of your designs as well. Instead of just the greek style of clothing you're adapting there are also cultures of aboriginal cultures of native american or indian culture as well.
Overall though, the designs are very nice and its beautifully done! I understand there is a direction of design that you were already going for so my suggestions can just be a sort of advice for your future character designs to consider culture variation as well as ethnicity and other more unique choices of input to make your designs stand out differently.

oh and I just realized that when I search for references on google, it shows me results based on where I'm living. For example it doesn't give me images/designs from South East Asia unless I type that specifically. So all my references will be around the same theme instead of being diversified. I'll definitely keep that in mind for my next projects

It's really helpful, I think I'm gonna start reading more about different cultures around the world from different times, I guess since I come from America I tend to shift toward that culture more than Oriental ones for example. For now I'm going to draw what I know since everything is already so overwhelming haha so yeah, baby steps

Yes! It's okay, I'm just letting you know the other options for next time when you really feel more comfortable with exploring further! It's good to start slow, don't rush the process, rushing makes you overlook important aspects and details of an artwork or a piece. If you work on it too long and it doesn't seem to be progressing like you want it to, take a break and come back to it later, you'll notice subtle differences you didn't realize you missed out before. And most importantly, your designs are still yours so if you like it a certain way, it's okay to defend it when needed~ Sometimes a viewer must understand what you're going for when you design in order to see the appeal. Like a basic knowledge of the character you're creating, their main persona or class and where they're from~ Best of luck with your future designs!

Awe thanx again for your great support!! I can't wait to do more designs but there are also 2 portraits that I would like to color haha XD I just don't have enough time in a week to do everything, it's just so sad but at least Im working on something hehe

It's kinda both haha It's a motivational project to keep me focus and to practice daily. But I would like to turn them into a card deck
