It's funny that you and others have said this, and I must admit I'm incredibly grateful to hear I'm not the only one. I saw that he died before I came to that part in the game and when I beat it, I literally cried myself to sleep(was at night btw). My heart liteally ached, I cried for 4 days in a row every song I listened too everytime I looked at the game cover or even thought about the game I cried and to be honest I tend to think my self a little messed up to be sooo emotional over a video game character...but I am. Nevertheless I wish he didn't die, or perhaps Square Enix could create a FFXII-2 Say perhaps Noah is in a coma and he awakes to defend Rabanastre and others to reclaim his name and honor. Obviously I've put loads of thought into this. Call it overboard but I think the least they could do was have Noah live and that backstabing Zargabaath die instead

All the rest aside... Zargabaath isn't backstabbing. ; ) He's quite noble and level headed. I mean, he offered to sacrifice himself and his ship to stop the Bahamut falling on a city that wasn't his. He didn't have to.

WHat he did was morally wrong but in the long term, he needed to make sure he was around to keep things slightly more in check - he needed to keep Vayne sweet, really. Wisdom, sometimes, is hard. I;m not saying he's squeaky clean but.

Oh yeah I wasn't arguing. I can see what you mean, and all, I just personally take the belief that all and all, he's a decent guy. Especially for someone whose life has been steeped in the blood and intrigue that is Archadia.
Nothing shows what happened to the last surviving judge, but I think his actions in the Alexander probably meant that Larsa would rather have him around, but that's just conjecture.

Oh I know ^.^ I don't mean to aruge either. He's not...bad >.< I have to agree though, because of what I knew of Archadia as I played it, I felt a hatred towards that city, and I didn't want to go there, lol. That's what happens when I play any Square Enix game xP. I don't understand what you mean in the last part. Larsa would rather have Zaargabath around instead of Basch (Or Gabranth)? Just all-around, I wish Noah lived, that's the only thing I hate about the game.

That makes it good, though. If a characters dies and like me you whimper a bit and go nooo creators how could you do this he was totally starting to do the right thing after all these years of bein' broken and crazy, HOW DARR YOU! But, you know, killing off the character nobody likes ain't so good fer pulling the heartstrings.

I completely agree, but I doubt anyone likes Vayne and when I got to kill him, I was like hell yea!!! It just would've been nice to leave the one person I liked the most alive, I mean I liked Reks too, and they killed him off in the first 20 minutes of the game D: Bas-tards v.v Square Enix more so has a way of killing or doing something I didslike to the people I like. I.E. Roxas & Aqua

Vayne, yes, Vayne. Reks I admit I never felt massively sorry for. Sure it sucked that he was a decent guy that got killed but... eh, I need a lot of development before I get much more than an 'oh' reaction.

Oh most definitely, just one of those wrong place wrong time...sort of. When I first played FFXII I was really into the story, and as it progress my thoughts were changing with what information I learned after each section. I.E. I hated Basch when encountered in the Nalbina Prison, but later I was changing my opinion of him, when he was the sole survivor in the battle with the judges when rescuing Ashe from Judge Ghis, xD.

I weirdly had no problem in that battle. And I killed Bergan with a Quickening chain before he could even get me.

Oh I didn't mean the fight specifically with Ghis. it was the fight prior to that, before you break out Ashe. I never really used quickenings only because I thrived on my MP and they never did much damage for me, but I hated Bergan going after one sole character while I was trying to kill the henchman xD My favorite fight was probably Hell Wyrm. I had Yiazmat down to 2 bars...but he spammed his "Death Star". Trying again when I get them all to 99.

Awesome. I recently unlocked Yiazmat, I;m at level 63 or so though, going to get Zodiark and some of the rare game first.

Oh I know, the guide for this game is almost next to needed for somethings, but it's kinda fun figuring them out ourselves, minus some of the hunts and all. As for Tournesol, I've already gotten it for the second time, I've also obtained the Zodiac Spear, Masamune, Dragon Whisker, whale Whisker, Excalibur, so on and so forth, the only weapons I'm trying ot get now is Durandal, Yagyu-Darkblade, Gastrophetes, Scorpian Tail, and Staff of the Magi. Other than that I'll have next to nothing to do other than get the Grand Armor and Helm. Dalan, surprisingly isn't that hard, I only had to get the Shadowseer hunt finished and complete the Tchita Uplands xD

Aye, I've yet to get to that Rare but I'm getting there xD I've fought Halvinek and Tower a few times but no luck with the Grand set. Anyway, yeah in order to get Dalan you have to do the Shadowseer hunt as well, bummer but he's not that bad :/ I guess. The biggest pain in my opinion was the Rocktoise immunities and the Pheonix/Phoenix (whichever). Yiazmat is next on my list though, just need to buy a few more bubble belts and a couple Herme's Sandals

Oh yeah, that's for certain, Does the proximity to him affect who he inverts? I hated how some other boss does that, I don't want to say Behemoth King or Fafnir, but regardless it's a nuisance for sure lol.

Actually, I was able to fight Yiazmat after i beat Hellwyrm and finished all the hunts except for Shadowseer. Somehow HellWyrm is like a pre-test to get the Yiazmat hunt :/ Stupid Monteblanc xD

Well that's what I've heard anyway, I did just fine with Tournesol, Zodiac Spear, and umm...oh Masamune. Although, I think I do want to utilize bows and guns more, I mean I didn't get Saggitarius and Fomalhaut for nothing >_> and the Icecloud/Artemis Arrows as well <_< Still hunting the Yagyu, I have to say though, screw the Danjuro...only if I'm bored would I bother with it, lol.

Oh? I never thought of that. I usually do either Masamune + Genji Gloves/Hermes Sandals + Circlet + Lordly Robes/Maximillian. Never thought of having her use a gun, I tend to leave that to Balthier lol.

Balthier's slightly slower with a gun and guns ignore the character's strength, so you get more benefit with a weak character. I give him poles.

If they ignore strength I'm assuming that Attack Power only plays a minor role in it? Whale whisker perhaps? I think it's alright so far, nothing to exciting about it yet. Stupid Zodiac Escutcheon is still evading me :/

Well because it ignores defence. Basically it deals damage ENTIRELY by the attack stat of the gun/ammo, no defence or anything.

True, I wish the charge for guns would be effected a little more by haste, it only speeds it up by like 1 second or so, it's like when I use cat-ear hood, I don't notice much damage change with bows, but i still put it on what ever person is using Saggitarius

Yup yup, Basch with Maximillian, Magepower Shishak, Zodiac Spear, until I find something all around better, and bubble belt or power armlet. I don't worry about the stone really, because it takes away for it's effect to work so I get that when they don't have anything major to worry about. I'm currently working on my second party, Vaan, Fran, and Balthier.
