Oh procrastination; you are forever the thorn on my side.
It's a dream! A dream! In the alternate future of Phantom & Angel, Shadow can only dream to hold her, but will never be able to hold her in real because:
She is dead.
The want to love, yet unable to love because of the lack of time they spent together. 'I wanted to love her like a lover; but I couldn't.' Yet all she ever would be is the best friend, the sister, the confident, the pillar of support.
In the end, dream as much as he will, it all dissolves and disappears and thus he shall return to his reality where he cannot hold her for real.

I love how dreamy this looks, the whole atmosphere's so calming yet melancholy at the same time. I really love how simple and ambiguous the background is, while I can imagine a foggy blurred city scape, I'm sure it would appear differently to another person.
