I needed to take a break from that Fairy Tail shindig that is going on this week. So I've done another Mass Effect Comic. Hoorah!I really am a heartless bitch when it comes to women, especially in video games. That shouldn't really be news to anyone. I just find it funny that whenever people bring up cases like the Virmire non-survivor like it was a hard thing to do. I didn't have to think twice about my decision, Ashley was female, Kaidan was male (and conveniently my LI). The choice was apparent for me.
Anywho, this is for all you people who didn't have any problems letting your crew mate (be it Ashley or Kaidan) die on Virmire. Yayy for heartless bitches like us! We should form a support group or something.

I started out with ME3. My bros chose to keep Ash alive( they guessed, we didnt know anything about the game), but when I was making my game, I chose Kaiden. When I got ME1, I hated Ash from the start... She was so negative.

I actually had a pretty hard time with this one XDD. I KNEW from the second it said I'd have to choose that It was gonna be Kaidan cuz he's my LI too. But... blah. I kept hoping there was a way out of it.
O_O weirddd I remember being SAD that I had to let Ashley die. But somewhere down the line something happened. Cuz I hate her now. WEIRD!! I thought I'd always hated her, but I guess.....

I did hope there was a way around it, as well, because that's what Bioware usually does. But since there wasn't, she had to go. Even if Kaidan wasn't my LI I always choose the men over women.

XDDD wow. Yeah, I like all the BioWare guys. Kaidan's amazing. GaRRUS is amazing. THANE is amazing. I actually came really close to cheating on Kaidan with Thane. He fell in love with my Shepard bad XD. Have you noticed that EVERYONE falls in love with Shepard? For me it was Jacob, Liara, Kaidan, Thane... I think thats it. The one girl character I DO really like (who's a squademate) is Tali. I think she's awesome. I also like Jack... sometimes XD. Miranda's a bitch. Ashley is a REALLY big bitch--even more than Miranda I think. I never brought her on any of my ME1 missions but I made my friend play and he got it into his head that he'd romance her so he started bringing her everywhere. We were both disgusted by her bitchy little comments XDD. And Liara's just... too whiney x.x

It is very true, but Garrus does start a relationship with Tali if Shep isn't in a relationship with either of them. I actually agree with everything you said there. I always felt like a minority though. I think I like Jack better in ME3, maybe that's because there is less of her. I just have an alpha female problem I think. xD

I liked Jack better in ME3 too XDD. She was a little poor me in ME2, with the whole Cerberus past and stuff. How she was like "NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO HAVE A WORSE PAST THAN ME! THEY WERE ALL THE LUCKY ONES EVEN THOUGH THEY ALL GOT KILLED BEING EXPERIMENTS TO MAKE THE TECHNOLOGY SAFE FOR ME!" In Me3 I think she sort of got over that and matured. And I loved how she greeted my Shepard with an affectionate sucker punch to the face XD.
But yeah I always felt like the minority too xP there's so much fanart of Liara and Ashley. I don't get why Kaidan's so hated on by a LOT of people. They're all like "ELVIS IMPERSONATOR!" and "MARY SUE!" Kaidan is so not a Mary Sue XDDDD. Sure he had that whole past with Jump Zero and his L2 implants suck, but he's the only one who's not whiney about the shit that's happened to him. I respect him for that.
Though... I was disappointed there wasn't a scene in the games where Shepard got to comfort Kaidan through a migrane XDD. I had my fingers crossed for ME3.

Yes, she kind of was the selfish teenager, but she had the strength to overcome her affliction. I liked when she and shepard go dancing. Jack doesn't care for the Shepard Shuffle.
I know, I never understood their hatred for Kaidan, but I guess they could say the same thing about Ashley and I. But I don't go around swinging names. The only time I wanted to slap Kaidan was on Horizon. But then I heard Rapheal read the letter and my heart melted. Did you hear that yet?
Oh yes! I know I can't believe that they swept that under the rug. They are like "Yeah, Kaidan get's migrains, but never when you are around."

Oh yes I did hear the letter reading <333. That voice... gaah. I think it's a large part of why I love Kaidan XDD. That and how everything he says is totally sincere and up front.
I didn't exactly want to SLAP Kaidan on Horizon. Sure it made me REALLY mad, but all I could think of was that it was going to make the relationship a whole lot better in the long run. I knew they wouldn't just END the Kaidan romance there, because I think the Kaidan/Ashley romance is one of the "main" sort of romances, you know? It's the only one you can sort of pursue through all three games, that and Liara. I knew he'd regret what he said as soon as he said it (And his letter proved that XD).
And of course, there was that amazing near death scene on Mars. I'm really weird in the way that my FAVORITE PARTS of any book/movie/game is a near death scene with a romance twist. It really GETS at your emotions, you know? I wasn't expecting BioWare to be amazing enough to throw that in. And it really MADE the romance for me. I could feel how my Shepard went from TOTALLY pissed off at Kaidan (even as they were running through the facility on MArs, they were at each others' throats) to realizing that she would do ANYTHING if she could keep him from dying before they got him help at the Citadel. Sort of a jolt of reality, realizing that little squabbles, as hurtful as they might be, didn't matter in the long run. I thought Kaidan would have to come crawling back to my Shepard on his knees before she'd take him back... turns out, she forgave him the second she ran over and saw that he probably wasn't going to make it through an injury like that.
And yeah... I put way too much into the thoughts of my Shepard XDDDD. I make up a lot more to the game than Shepard says. I don't do fanfics or anything like that... but. I like viewing the whole thing as a story, with characters and thoughts and everything. Just my weird writer's mind working to the max XD.

Oh yes, I had nearly forgotten about mars. Yes, it was certainly a heart stop to see his seemingly lifeless body lying there. I saw this comic not to long ago where, even after Kaidan was "recovered" his head injury was much more worse then Shepard knew and Kaidan was living off of borrowed time. It made my heart weep.
I do that to as well, so I understand what you are saying. I just like doing fanfictions because I like looking back over my own thoughts and it's kind of cool when you have other people who want to hear more about what is going on in your mind.

YEah it's taken some time XDD. And we add all these new scenes and... romances. Xd yes, we're hopeless. We've got Garrus paired up with Sarya, Kaidan and Shepard, Joker and Gabby, Loz and Legion, Maisie and Vega, Morinth and Grunt, the asari councillor and the turian councillor (We call them Ha'art and Velarn), Keith and Lucille (EDI). Yeah. We're totally hopeless. But we like playing with these things XDDD
