Before I went off to work, I wanted to do a quick painterly sketch. It probably would have been easier if I didn't try painting a person on a horse... but I needed to practice something I wasn't as familiar with to push me. It worked >.< I've decided I need to draw more horses. I wanted to do a tribute both to the video game Red Dead Redemption, and to the late Dave Carter. I absolutely adore his songs. He's definitely one of the best folk singers that have ever lived. The poetic rhythm of his music is so fantastic. I hope you give the song a listen. I've included a link down below.
