Description This isn't really a tutorial as much as it is a step by step...

I might make a real tutorial about this but this was done quickly mostly for to show him what I was tinkering with in terms of creating a glowing effect with markers and such.

My biggest tip is that if you can use a colored outliner for whatever's glowing (I did it on the butterflies) it really seems to make the subject more luminescent.

If you don't want to do that, feathering out a light color with hints of a darker color can also create a sort of glowy effect. Also, reflective lighting is key in terms of showing how something like a blue glow is lighting up an area.
