Description
Nukupoid woke up early in the morning. He shielded his face with a hoof and looked at the calendar drowsily. He suddenly awoke, realizing it was his birthday. He looked over at his bronyfriend, Lulupoid.

"Lulupoid!" He tackled his lover, biting gently on his ear. "Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up!" The white and black brony moaned and pushed his head into the pillow.

"Lu-lu-poid!" Nukupoid yelled in his ear, "Get uuuup!" He pushed him off the bed and landed on top of him.

Lulupoid opened his eyes slowly, and looked up at the blue coated unicorn staring down at him. He chuckled softly. "Where are your glasses, Nuku? You might have tackled me and I could have been somepony else."

"I know what you look like, even when the world is a blur." He smiled. Lulupoid got up and put Nukupoid's glasses on him.
Nukupoid got up and followed Lulupoid into the kitchen. "So… Lulupoid. Do you happen to know what day it is?" Nukupoid said, standing behind his bronyfriend, watching him brew the coffee.

Lulupoid thought for a moment. "Friday." He poured the water into the coffee machine, and pressed the button with his nose. He turned around and bit Nukupoid's unusually large ear lovingly.

"But do you know what it also is?" Nukupoid said, rocking back and forth expectantly on his hooves. He watched Lulupoid walk and get some eggs out of the fridge.
Lulupoid looked as if he was pondering it for a moment. "Is it… my turn to take out the trash?" There was no devilish look in Lulupoid's eyes as there usually was when he was playing with Nukupoid. He looked quite serious.

"Oh," Nukupoid said, looking downcast, "Never mind." Lulupoid looked concerned. "Is there something wrong?" Lulupoid went and stood next to Nukupoid, nuzzling his forehead gently.

"N-no. I'm fine." Nukupoid took the coffee out of the maker and poured it into the coffee pitcher. Lulupoid made breakfast and put it on the table. He then poured the coffee into his cup, added the sugar and milk and took a sip.

Nukupoid ate his eggs quietly, hoping Lulupoid would remember his birthday after he had had some coffee. Lulupoid remained quiet, reading the Ponyville news.

Nukupoid finished his food. "I'm going to go down into Ponyville now. See ya later, Lulu." He got up form the table and trotted out of the house.

The first thing that happened when he got outside, he was glomped. Kasha was hugging on to him and nuzzling his chest. "Hi Nuku! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she hugged him for a few moments more, and then released him. He gasped for breath. He looked at the fiery red Pegasus and got up. "Thanks."

Kasha grabbed his hoof and started to drag him towards the town. "Come on, Pinkie Pie is throwing a HUGE party for you!"

On the way to where the party was being held, they bumped into another Utaupony,
Agnesloid. She shook her short, blonde mane, and asked, "Can I join you guys?"

"Sure!" Agnesloid trotted alongside the other two ponies.

Nukupoid was excited about the party, but he wondered about Lulupoid. He never forgot about Nuku's birthday, not once! Did Lulupoid not love him anymore? Was he just being nice and waiting until after his birthday to break up with him? Nukupoid realized that that was the case. Or at least what he thought was the case.

Meanwhile the other two ponies were chattering away about the party ahead. Nukupoid focused his attention on what they were saying.

"I heard," Agnesloid had been saying, "That even some of the Vocaponies are coming!" Kasha yelled in triumph. "Which ones?"

"Big Al, and Miku, Gakupo, Kaito, Len, Rin, Meiko, Luka, most of the ones from the Vocapony 2 series!" Agnesloid was very hyper activated. Soon Kasha was too.

"WE'RE GOING TO MEET SOME VOCAPONIES! FUCK YAH!" Kasha yelled. "Nuku, you're going to finally meet Kaito now!"

While Nukupoid was ecstatic about meeting his favorite Vocapony, he thought about Lulupoid. His favorite Vocapony, Len, would be there. Would he be there to meet him?

"And," Agnesloid added softly, "even Princess Celestia will be there!" Kasha gasped in awe.

"Nuku, everypony in Ponyville will be at your birthday party!" Kasha said, looking over at the brony. "Hey, are you ok?"

Nuku looked at the two ponies, "Yah, I'm good."

"Are you sure?" Agnesloid asked, looking concerned.

"Yah. I'm really sure." He managed a smile on his face and tried to focus on the party ahead.

When they finally arrived at Sugarcube Corner, there were thousands upon thousands of ponies there. He could see Princess Celestia above all the others, because she was so tall. She was standing next to Twilight Sparkle and surveying the entire place.

He could see some of the Vocaponies, trotting around and having fun, just like regular ponies. He trotted over, and approached Kaito from behind. "Hello, I'm Nukupoid." He turned around, "Well hello there! Happy birthday!" Kaito said. "Ok, I have something for you, but you must PROMISE to cherish it forever."

"Ok," Nukupoid said, surprised that a Vocapony wanted to give him something. "Promise?" Kaito said seriously. "Yes" Nukupoid replied. Kaito handed him a large tub of ice cream, that was chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and any flavor of ice cream anypony could ever think of.

"Wow, thanks!" Nukupoid said, licking a bit of it. "You're welcome! See you later!" He trotted off.

Pinkie Pie was bouncing around ecstatically. She jumped right next to Nukupoid, "Isn't this a great party? Everypony in Ponyville is here! Happy birthday Nukupoid!" She bounced all around him. "Your presents are over there!" she bounced off to enjoy the party. Nukupoid stared at the large pile of presents that were laying in the direction that Pinkie Pie had pointed. He galloped over and jumped in. He wished Lulupoid were here to help him open all of these presents. He opened presents for a long while. Kasha had given him plague that said, "One Free Glomp, With Love from Kasha" and a chocolate muffin. Agnesloid had given him a game called "Portal 2" and a heaping pile of artist's paper and pencils. Gakupo had given him a sword, from Miku he got some new headphones, Teto and Defoko had given him a present together, witch was two free tickets to The Natural Bridge, where Nukupoid had always wanted to go with Lulupoid. There were many more, but he decided to open them later and search for Lulupoid, wondering if he was there. He looked all around, but didn't spot his black and white bronyfriend anywhere.

When it was cake time, he had a blindfold tied around his eyes, and was guided by Kasha, Agnesloid, and Kaito towards the cake. When the blindfold was taken off, his mouth dropped open, gazing at the largest cake that anypony had ever seen. It was about 32 stories tall and had real butter cream icing. On it, written in dark blue icing, were the words, "Happy Birthday Nukupoid!" He took an elevator to the top and spoke into the microphone, "Thank you everypony for this party! Thanks to Pinkie Pie for throwing the party," Pinkie Pie yelled, "OH YAH!" Nukupoid chuckled and continued, "And thanks to everypony for all the presents and everything! I'm really glad that you guys care about me that much!" He blew out the candle; witch was larger that he was, then shouted into the mic, "LETS EAT!"

With that, everypony jumped at the cake and started to eat to their hearts content. Nukupoid did too, and soon there were tunnels running all inside the cake. He found Kasha, and later Agnesloid in the tunnels, and the three ponies tunneled their way out of the cake.

Nukupoid enjoyed the rest of the party thoroughly, and it would have been perfect if... Lulupoid were there. That kept bothering him at the back of his mind as he went around and did things.

Once the party was over, and everypony had said goodnight, Nukupoid started home. When he arrived at the door of the house, he almost cried, thinking about what Lulupoid would say.
He opened the door quietly, and flipped on the light. Lulupoid was sitting there in the dark, with a banner strung on the ceiling. It said, "Happy birthday, Nukupoid." He smiled, and approached the shocked blue unicorn brony. "Did you have fun?" He whispered softly into Nukupoid's ear.

Nukupoid could hardly speak, "Y-yes, but why didn't you go?"

"You know I don't like being around so many ponies."

"But why did you act like you forgot my birthday this morning? Do-do you not love me anymore?"

Lulupoid's eyes widened, "Why would I forget your birthday? And what made you think that I didn't love you anymore?"

"Well, you ignored the fact that it was my birthday!"

"I wanted to surprise you when you got home, with my own kind of party." He kissed Nukupoid's lips softly.

When he pulled away, Nukupoid was both blushing and crying with joy. Lulupoid pulled the other brony close to his chest, and whispered into his ear, "Happy birthday, my big-eared fool."
