Please tell me its not just me who sees a frogs eyes when you look at this? ...Check out that hairy looking flower the drops are sat on! (you'll need to full view) ...wierd eh? Got that from my Auntie & Uncles garden at Sunday dinner today.I was inspired by 's competition [link] to try droplet pics with coloured water... It was harder then I thought, the drops kept mixing together and it was hard to get the colour/water ratio right for each colour.
This is gonna be my competition entry (still not sure if [link] or [link] would have been a better entry tho :S )

First of all, that's a really cool flower. Is that an orchid - I just love those things. They say once you start, you can't stop, and I'm living proof.
Second thing: This is an awesome photo - excellent color, great texture and good depth. The composition is nice, but I think that yellow petal peeking in on the left is a bit distracting and could use a bit of the old cloning brush in PS. Overall, I think the contrast could be increased just a smidge, because there isn't really any rich black here.
I definitely see a frog here and, as my name shows, I'm quite partial to frogs. You've really done a great job with this, though I'm actually partial to "Feather Drops." I think that, despite the comedic effect of this photo, "Feather Drops" really shows a more comprehensive grasp on the aesthetic principals of art and also fulfills the parameters of the competition better, since there are more colors in the water and the water is more of a focus. In fact, I'm throwing that one into my favs!

Its definatly not an orchid but I can see why you'd think that... it was a little flower that grows at ground level, not sure what its called tho... and didnt even notice it was hairy when I picked it.
I'd not notice the lil yellow petal peeking in the left but now you mention it it could do with removing *puts on the to-do list*
I totally agree that 'Feather drops' [link] is the better picture art-wise...

This is really great! I definitely think this is the best choice of the three, although I love the way the light reflects off the drops in the feather one. I have to ask: what IS the furry thing?

...the furry thing is the wierdest flower I've ever seen! ...found it in my Aunties garden, didnt realise it was hairy till I looked really close.
