I had the urge to draw a fire spitting dragon and since it has been quite a while I drew any Pokemon, I chose Charizard. (He is one of my favourite Pokemon, I just love fire-types)My inspiration to this artpiece came from an art-exhibition which displayed drawings/ paintings of one of my favourite Renaissance artists, Caravaggio. His lightning/shading technique is incredibly inspiring.
