No, this aint Ariel from The Little Merimaid with a blonde hair-dye, it's Aquarianne (from the Gummi Bears TV Series) the REAL first mermaid before Ariel. Aquarianne only appeared in one episode of the Gummi Bears and was Gusto's love interest.

When she first met Gusto, she washed up on the beach until Gusto and Sunni found her while Gusto was trying to find an impression for for his ocean painting. Gusto had instently fall in love with the beautiful mermaid and knew he just have to her in his painting. Thinking that the two Gummi Bears were fishers, Aquarianne had called on her pet sea creater,Fin, to frighten them, but she soon found Gusto's sketch pad that amazing pictures of the ocean and realizes that they didn't mean no harm to her. Aquarianne soon found Gusto and Sunni again and she agreed with Gusto to be in his painting (that made him jump with excitment like a march hare in spring time).

And when the evil Duke Igthron caputered Aquarianne (after she was banished by jealous Sunni when she told her a lie about Gusto wanted to do to her), Gusto had to save her. When he and Sunni came to rescue her, Gusto told Aquarianne that Sunni had lied to about him, Aquarianne apolgized to Gusto and he forgive. Looks like Aqua had feelings for Gusto.

It's ashame though that Aquarianne only appeared in one epsiode, but I still think that she and Gusto make a cute couple. Do you think so?
