It was actually Asian-Americans that named their daughter.

And I guess they name her that because they thought is sounded pretty.

Yeah, you're talking about Tila Tequila (that's not her real name btw) but Tequila is a beverage, not a hispanic name. So even if she was actually named Tequila, it'd be stupid not foreign.

maybe they just named her that because they thought it was a pretty name.
