WHEEEEEE~ Speedpainting! I Tried to do this in less than 2 hours, however i took around 2 and a half hour in total i think, but since i wroked on this on and off over the course of around 4 hours without taking the time, i cant really say for sure right now.Its a little giftart for *Beti-Kot , her character Angelina, because i hadn't made her a christmas present. Though the true motiv was that i loved the contrast of her colors, which are are quite simple and yet very enchanting, the irony is that i painted this entirely black and white and colored it at the end :/
Anyway, I'm hoping I will be able to pull out some more Speedpainting portraits just to get a better feeling for "talking eyes". Do her eyes talk to you? If so, what do they say? I would be very interested to hear some opinions :3
ALSO! Would anyone be interested in portrait commissions in this style? I would like to do commissions like these for 10€ (around 12$) per portrait, but i first want to know if theres people interested. If youre interested, feel free to note me or leave a comment please

Very nice speed painting! I like how you used complementary colors like red and green for contrast; it looks festive knowing that it's the holidays~ =w= Her eyes are my favorite part of the piece.

Atm I ask myself one question:
"Who wouldn't be interested in a commission?"

Hehe i wish it were that way. I did get a few commissions during the time i had them open this year in February to April, however most were commissioning either sketches, traditional pencil shaded pieces or pictures with cellshaded characters (the price difference was around 15-20€ i think if i recall correctly). Even though most people said I sold much too cheap i gues it was still too expensive for most, so instead of offering whole body pictures in this style, i gues a portrait like this would do too, its much cheaper and isnt so hard to do after all. I gues i still need to wait a little longer to attract other people that would actually be willing to pay for this style of my art

Wie ich erst jetzt merke, dass du dich ja laut dA in Deutschland aufhälst... Auf Deutsch ist es für mich einfacher, sich zu unterhalten...^^)
Natürlich ist das zu billig, aber die meisten Menschen, die an Commissions interessiert sind, sind nicht SO sehr an richtiger Kunst interessiert, als dass sie auch den entsprechenden Betrag zahlen würden... Sie wissen einfach nicht, wieviel Arbeit und Liebe du in die Bilder investiert hast. Aber wenn du natürlich ein bisschen Geld verdienen willst, ist es nicht schlecht, auch mal etwas billigere Angebote an Commissions reinzustellen... Wenn du nicht die richtigen Kunstsammler auf dich aufmerksam gemacht hast. Bei den Commissions Portäts anzubieten ist eine wirklich gute Idee. So kann man den wichtigsten Teil des Charakters in einem Bild abdecken und es bei einer vergleichsweise einfacheren Arbeit belassen.
Ich wünsche dir zumindest viel Erfolg und Glück für deinen Werdegang!

(Yes, of course it's too cheap but most of the people are not THAT interested in real art. They just want to get some cheap drawing and do not know, how much work and love you invested in your commission drawings. But if you want to earn some money, it's the only way, if the real art collectors do not know you and your skills (I hope you know what I mean... my english is so bad... I'm sorry about that!). It's a good idea to offer portrait pictures. People love them because they show the most important aspect of a character. I wish you luck and lots of commissions! (:

Naja ich geb mir mühe mit den commissions, aber wie du sagst ist es manchmal schwer "and die richtigen leute ranzukommen". Warumn dann nicht auf sich aufmerksam machen und dabei ein wenig üben XD
