Description
Work In Progress shot of my digital painting, "Waiting", featuring Riversong the white dragon.Feel free to offer any advice, but be reminded that some things that you see are not finished, but the painting itself is still malleable so input is appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful! One thing though, the right paw (the dragons right) might look better if it were turned to nearly vertical.

oh god the clouds! I know the feathers and scales probably took more effort, but the shines on those clouds make me smile. I love the soft pink paws and nose, and the light and clean detailing of the wings and hair(mane?). keep it up, it's going to be beautiful!

She is very white. It's lovely, really--but everything you do just makes my jaw hit the floor anyway, heh. I love her coloration--white dragons are my personal favorite, for some reason. She kind of reminds me of a rat (pink paws, I think), but I like rats, too. Rambling. Keep up the gorgeous work, Kes. <3

That pink stuff is actually a stem from that little black dragon picture. I put the pink tips on the black dragon as a mark of something fragile, fresh and newborn. I wanted that same effect on this adult dragon- I wanted a sense of not just majesty, but of frailty and youth.

Pink like the skin of babes. It works wonderfully with the pallate, and it does give it a sense of innocence, so to speak.

Don't usually feel compelled to comment on things..but dude. Those clouds are amazing. And I love how you've done her feathers. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

holy crap. that's..quite beautiful..
I do have one thing that kinda erks me about it, is that she looks like a very dainty and elegant kind of dragon, I would think she'd have more of a wrist to her because her front legs look a little stick-like.
Not saying you have to change it because you're so good at these things and how would I know, right?

I'm still having issues with the front hand that's poised above the ground. When drawing the lines for the image, I muddled around with that hand so many times, doing so many different things, and this end result is what looked least stupid, so I stuck with it (though I kind of think it looks too small)... But yeah. There might be a few anatomy issues that could have been fixed, but linework is the most difficult to rework, and if it's small enough to look over I'm going to look over it

maybe, for the hand, try fliping it horizontaly. For me, different angles help.
overall I can't wait to see the final version, I can see it being a daily deviation.
