The last of my weekend spree (please don't get sick of me.
.She's a lonely little angel with withered black wings, always ridiculed and ignored by the others, cast off and labeled ugly. In her hands she holds the key to save the earth from the destructive power of evil..but she's not sure she wants to share it because of how she's been treated.
Assignment for Digital Illustration. We had to put interesting textures into our digital painting assignment and this is what I came up with. Photoshop 7. Model = me.

You're wonderful at setting a mood for your work, Jessica. Everything I've seen from you always brings out an emotion in me. Usually it's happiness and glee, but work like this one, and the faerie you did recently just make me feel melancholy...

Oh, your art didn't ruin my day... it just made me sad. Then I watched Power Rangers and felt better.
And, actually, digging out those old Sailor Moon tapes doesn't sound like a bad idea...

This is beautiful. The dark lighting really brings out the emotion of the situation and also enhances the light of what she's holding.
