Full title: Letters That Never Made the Post.I found an old letter that I'd written a friend years ago and never sent her, and as I reread it, I understood why. Part of me stays so guarded by instinct and the rest of me wishes I wasn't so isolated. Halfway through it I had already decided it was never being sent, so I poured my entire soul into it, explaining myself, explaining my issues, and apologizing for them.
I quickly wedged it back into the notebook and hid it in the closet. Who knows when I'll break it out and read it again.

Look at that right there! I TOLD YOU, that you could be ugly if you tried hard enough!!! LoL but seriously, there is a great deal of artistic flavor in this image. What I see is like someone who shut down and closed their eyes a long time ago... yet something sparked an emotion sad enough to shed a tear or two, even if it is from the one eye that hasn't dried up for disuse yet.
I like the trail of a tear through the dust of the years, but there is much milkiness around the eye that could have been different

it feels weird favouriting a piece that has you crying, but it is really beautiful your emotion shows so well and as much as it sucks to see you sad, its so pretty

I wasn't actually crying, if that helps. This photo is birthed from my inability to feel anything anymore, the way it makes me feel kind of empty and cold and isolated. That's what the letter had been about, back when it was first starting and before I really knew how to identify it like I do now.
So no worries, I wasn't upset. I'm still not.

its something a lot of people can identify with, you captured the "numbness" really well. i was just thinking how sad it would be to see the end of these "picture a day" uploads you have been making, i really loved this series.
