Description Humpback whale modeled and textured for 4th year film 'The Luminous Deep'. Originally modeled by ~hiddentapir in Maya. Displacement map created using mudbox and texture's created in photoshop. Amy has him all rigged so he is ready to animate.

Because it's using a displacement map the render times are not so bad.. this took about 5min using mental ray. Amy is gonna use her uber PC at home which should help as well

That is great. the displacement map works really well - not to OTT, like a lot of models you see. really nice.
