Description I'm posting this one early so it's still at least a LITTLE timely.

Sometimes I come up with good-humored conservative gags that can't come out of little Me 'cuz, frankly, I'm NOT conservative. However, I don't want to use one of my conservative friends 'cuz I don't want anyone to think I'm ragging on them. So, thank God/Dog for mirror universes.

Of course, in Klob's universe, Kcarrab Amabo won the election of the platform of "Staying the same" as the left-wing progressive Egroeg M Hsub, who brought the A.S.U 8 years of peace and higher taxes. So Klob is pissed off in THAT dimension, too.

I must say though, I make for one SEXY Republican. ;-P

I really don't agree with what Obama's doing right now, and I'm a conservative. But to be fair, crazy people are found on both sides and in all places.

ICE-BUUUURN.

For some reason, Klob's facial hair reminds me of some conservative personality that I used to listen to back when I was a neo-conservative but I just can't remember... It's the guy who wrote "Liberal Fascism".

Also, considering the fact that I'm an anarcho-capitalist/voluntarist now and therefore can't stand any president, I feel contractually obligated to never change my underwear until, like the silk shirts the Mongols wore, it disintegrates from my body.

You smell that?

Smells like the NON-AGGRESSION PRINCIPLE.

I find this humorous, even though I disagree with President Obama on nearly every issue. not because of his party, but because of my personal and moral beliefs. I always wish that politics really was about the issues and not just the two parties bashing each other until the loader mouth wins. but I digress. Kevin, I hope you enjoy a prosperous future and kept up the great work with your comics.

I have no comment on the political aspects of this strip, but I will say that Nivek Klob sounds like your Yugoslavian doppelganger.

The goatee just reinforces this impression.

I'm sure there are plenty of us, but the rabid "Democrats are demon rats!" conservatives have a much higher entertainment factor and, as such, are more widely viewed. Like this friendly fellow here which, stepping back a pace, is really quite amusing!

ShaneJensenToons [2009-01-22 04:03:52 +0000 UTC]

That's funny. Hahaha... I love how you spelled your name backwards in there. I'm a conservative myself, but NOT an "ultra conservative". I would say I'm leaning more to the moderate side. I didn't vote for Obama, but I'm not adverse to him either. I may not agree with all of his politics, but I do respect him and understand that he is a very respectable and down to earth guy. Anyone going out of their way to LOOK for petty things to pick him apart to criticize him is ridiculous and foolish. I'm not interested in doing stuff like that and just accept our leader for who he and his policies are. I have no doubt that he'll do good things for this country. It's just a shame that most people with different political beliefs can't agree to disagree and be more accepting.

I made it a point to watch as much of the inauguration as possible at work. Didn't get as much done at work as I should have. Oops. lol. But I didn't want to miss it for the world. It was great, I enjoyed every minute of it and enjoyed Obama's speech, it was VERY good and sounded VERY promising. I just hope Obama is a man of action and not just a man of words, because his speech had a lot of hope.

Even as a (possibly moderate) conservative, I feel the next four years will be good and I have nothing but optimism. Aside from all that, Obama comes across as a darn nice guy. How can anyone say anything bad about that?

D.C is about 30 minutes from my house, so I was really tempted to go see it. Problem is, I get sick around huge crowds and the Mall was PACKED like a big ol' sardine can. Sally and her sister went, though. I haven't heard from them so hopefully they're still alive. O_O
