A few days ago a friend was selling a crap ton of gear. In the back I saw dusty Polaroid 55 film boxes. Unopened. Far out of date, covered in playa dust, but I knew I probably couldn't afford what he'd ask and there would be no way to know if they were even any good. So he handed me two sheets to test.

This isn't from them. Opening up my 4x5 gear, there were the three sheets to a box that had produced a consistent series of duds. So, I considered the shot I made 4 years ago my last polaroid. Until now. With the two yet to be shot tomorrow, I stuck one from the dud box in the camera figuring it would be useless. It wasn't. The ASA had dropped to somewhere around 2. But this arose out of it....

Wish I hadn't made the stupid face....
