love the light. it does not distract from the subject, rather gives her that angelic touch. it reminds me of the lights in a reflecting pool. she looks how i feel many days now as of late.

the form, tone and choice - use of colour is spectacular. gives this picture a real feel for emotion.

lovely pose and light. I like some of the texture, but I wish it not so strong, and I think it works best over her face and not the rest of her body.

I know it makes little difference either way, but she is really beautiful, and that adds a lot to this piece.
The cropping and texture make it that much more excellent!

looks fantastic... i really love the way her face is represented here.. it looks almost like a simple cutout of some sort, yet it has depth. hard to explain. the hair looks awesome there though.
im curious, how did you get that slight bit of texture that i see there?
keep up the excellent work!

Thank you for all that....
:cough cough:...ok I guess I can let this one be known...
This was my first and only accidental reticulation....when i processed the negs on this one somehow i managed to let the hot water on in the tap. On the last rinse before I had a chance to realize it I soaked the entire thing in 160 degree water, essentially shattering the emulsion....it used to be the hip thing to do in the 70's, probably by someone who was equally as careless. It can look cool, but it's irreversable.... in this case I was fortunate enough to have it work....though I'll never do it again...

Oh wow. That is fascinating. I can't wait to start developing my own prints. I hope my mistakes turn out as good as yours.
