I am amazed to find this plant here! For us as children, the fruit of this small shrub was chewed by us and the flowers were to remove them one by one in a "Love, not love you"

I saw one of these planted on my university campus and was in love... Big flowers made of little flowers? I'm in. I was going to take pictures the next week, but the groundskeepers jumped the gun at clearing them out for the season. I'm really happy to see a good picture and an identification.

Nice pic, good to see some information included to.
Lanatna took a liking to Australa and is now a serious menace in bush areas.

I'll be posting a picture in the next few days that shows how lantana takes over our bushland.

Lantana was introduced here as a garden plant too but it took a liking to Australia and became a menace.
The Cronan Creek track used to be a main road until an easier crossing through the mountains was found and opened up. I had hoped the old road still went as far as the border but National Parks only maintains a limited section, beyond this the old road is choked with lantana [link]
