Description
For this picture I wanted to show a visual of the father's sacrificial love for his child, which of course would mirror the sacrificial love of our Heavenly Father towards us. Nowhere in Scripture does God promise us that we won't go through dangerous or scary situations, but rather that God is with us through those situations. We can confidently ride on His shoulders like little children, knowing that He will never let us go.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.β (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Note: Sky and water taken at Myrtle Beach, Sharks taken at Science Center in Greensboro. Humans taken in backyard.

This also makes me think there is Β line between childhood (Innocence) and adulthood (Knowledge). When as a child, you see all the little things that we would take for granted as adulthood. Seeing the beauty and wonders that our Creator has made. When as an adulthood, you realize that things are not what they seem. You start seeing the dangers that you probably wouldn't notice as a child. But both desire love, companionships, and sense of purpose? (I'm not sure about the third one)Β Also both want what the other has.
