As a kid I used to watch Doctor Who on Channel 13 here in New York with Tom Baker. I love British Sci-Fi. It is so much different than American Sci-fi. Less formulaic. So when Doctor Who came back I was anxious to see it. And Christopher Eccleston was very good as the ninth Doctor. So when he left I was very leery about this new guy, David Tennant. And I am happy to admit that I was wrong. I love this guy as the Doctor. His Doctor is a little more fun-loving and goofy than Eccelston's but he has a serious dark side (as seen in the episodes Runaway Bride and The Family of Blood). So here is the Doctor with the Tardis unfinished. I will complete it fairly soon but I wanted to get it up here. I'm thinking of adding Martha Jones and Rose Tyler as well...Hope you like.Oh, and P.S. The last episode that aired on the Sci-Fi channel entitled Blink? That was one of the best episodes of any sci-fi show I've ever seen. Seriously.

not sure.... a lot of the production is done down here..... i think its actually made by BBC wales? probably its cheaper filming in cardiff lol! in that episode, Blink, the "police station" is a building down the road from where i work. the green building next to it is the pub i like to drink in! and Torchwood? Cardiff is the LAST place you'd base a secret alien-monitoring organisation!
im glad people in the US appreciate the Doctor too. is it true that most people who know the show only really know Tom Baker as the Doctor?

I'd say so, yes. The Tom Baker episodes got HUGE play here in the states... and for anyone in my age range, HE was the Doctor. We really didn't see the other ones. It's really cool to learn the whole history of the show. All of the Doctors and all of the episodes they've made over the years. It's a great show and a great legacy.
I haven't seen Torchwood yet : ( I don't have BBC America.( I have to find out how to get that, my wife would love that. She LOVES British shows). I'll just buy it on DVD, I guess...

man torchwood is ass. its the inverse of how great doctor who is! and i only found out yesterday that Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who! :S
i was also told that the Doctor Who/torchwood production vans have "Burnt Tree" on the side of them (geddit?), and i realised that id seen them all over the place!
oh well im glad the doctor gets appreciated. that was my halloween costume too haha
