Cats out of the bag, and this image is out so I can share it with you! This is my illustration for Star Wars Celebration 2019.
I decided to do one of my all time favorite scenes. As a long time Star Wars fan, seeing these two together again was beautiful. And, after Carrie died (sob), I felt like Mark Hamill was saying goodbye to her for all of us, though she will not ever really be gone. <3
It is a limited edition, there will only be 250 sold, and pre-orders will go up on Wednesday at noon.

I just found this in another's favorites, and had to come to comment! LOVE this--the art-deco styling, the scene you chose...Han's "dice" in Leia's hand...**whimper** I watched an outtake of this on YouTube: Carrie was sobbing, with the director having to come and console her... Perhaps SHE knew she was saying goodbye, too, on some level... **weeps** All that said, I just love this: the tender moment between the Skywalker twins, in the midst of a battle for their very lives... I hope you sold all the prints!

This is so amazing! Speaking of the die in her hands, I was fangirling so hard when I first saw them in the movies and then Solo kinda ruined it. I fangirled because if they got ANYTHING from the EU books, it was Han's lucky die, The name 'Ben' and Han & Leia's son turning to the dark side and even at that, I dont think Ben / Kylo is in the Dark Side nor is he a sith. If he does redeem himself, he will be a the first Gray Jedi on screen.
