Description
Finished this a while ago, but I wanted to upload those older projects first.There's a story that goes with this that explains what's going on in the picture, but I don't know how to write it without sounding stupid. I'm an artist, not a writer. D|
This drawing is unlike my others. Instead of demanding my hand to draw something, I let my ideas flow. I didn't know what I was drawing; it just started with a sad face, and then ended with this.
There's actually a lot of symbolism for something that I didn't plan. The wings are especially symbolic for me.

This has a nice organic feel to it, and it also has that kinda gross factor - but it doesn't gross me out. I actually really like the effects in this picture and I wouldn't change it. Maybe I'd make the red-lit parts of the android a little brighter but honestly I think you could still leave it as that. It indicates either powering-up or powering-down.

I think the red lights were stronger in the original, but that got lost with the resizing. I haven't really thought of it as powering up/down but I'll take it.

the colors have a traditional feeling to them, and the detail and subject is just astonishing <3 art like this needs much more attention, 20 faves just don't suffice for this excellence
for this, you could easily be mistaken for one of those artists who have like millions of pageviews because it's so good

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed that this only has 21 faves. I put in a lot of time and effort and I love how it came out. For some reason, the more work I put into a drawing, the fewer people like it.

This is great! They way youΒ΄ve drawn this charact so that it looks like it was painted with watercolors is cool! I do adore how you made that metallic look on the armor... I would say that is some kind of mushroom growing from the head...some sort of very creepy stuff... but antlers are better!..
Is that some kind of bird in te hands of the character? Although it doesnΒ΄t look quite alive anymore.

Actually, now that you mention it, it does look like there's hyphae growing from her head! XD
Yes, it's a bird (specifically, a Mourning Dove). The story that I was originally going put in the description was going to explain the reason for it being there. It's also part of the symbolism.
