A bit of a pushover, Jaegyu is usually the friend that gets roped into nonsensical plans. He tells himself put up more of a resistance each time he winds up in some less than desirable situation but never does so. Regardless, he continues to support his friends tirelessly, sacrificing time and energy for them without a second thought.

On the other hand, Jaegyu tends to second guess and psych himself out. He can be a bundle of nerves at times, anxious and unsure of what path to take. He can also be rather obnoxious about certain things. When fixated on something, he refuses to let it go until it has reached his expectations.

Backstory
Jaegyu is unsure of why this was, but he stayed to himself as a child as he lacked the confidence and courage to put himself out into the world. He suspects it may have been due to his older brother, who was as confident as could be (despite not having much in his head). From constantly comparing himself to him, Jaegyu managed to convince himself that he wouldn't be able to be as well-spoken as his brother. Thus he spent his childhood mostly with his family, not managing to make many friends when he was a wee lad.

Jaegyu eventually opened up to people after several interventions from his concerned siblings and parents, but not fully and completely. He continuously kept his own feelings and thoughts to himself, which gradually led to the decline of his mental health. His first year of high school was spent trying to find a healthy balance in his life while he tried to learn how to deal with his anxieties and worries. Gradually he got better, but it wouldn't be until the end of high school where he became more open with his feelings. During this time he picked up running as a way to relieve his stress. He wound up being adequate at it so after high school ended and he had finished his time in the military, he wound up applying to Hanwool for track and field. Since he was unsure of his aspirations during this time, running seemed to be the best option. It took Jaegyu by surprise when he was accepted, but he decided to go with the offer and begin his future at Hanwool.
