It seems photography/manip is where the money is in print sales, this i have learned first hand...the ~majority~ of the public dont like abstract..not for the average consumer anyways. it is inherent that only the younger generation have a fascination for that....my print sales have doubled with the use of people in them.
And i have been talking to an agent of one of my favorite artists agent *Les Barany and most top ranking pros dont regard the digital"abstract" medium as highly as conventional mediums in the art society(at least at this time) and i take these pointers from the pros very highly into consideration since i havent actually manifested an exact style to my art. but i think i will be heading more to a photomanip style for the future..at least to make an income from.
and Les is the agent of HR Giger so i believe they know what they are talking about
that doesnt mean i wont stop makin it, but i will review where im heading with my art.
