Hello! No, actually I drew it on regular white bristol board. The original is not this dark. I always use my computer to make the background blacker. The original is much lighter and is graphite colored.

I wanted to make sure I was answering the right question! I do usually work on 9 x 12 paper, but on occasion I do work on larger paper. In fact I just finished a drawing on 14 x 17 paper last month. I appreciate your interest in my artwork!
