Khorghil — The Watch of Hope

Description This is another Landscape of Khorghil. The Watch of Hope is Stoneformation inmid the desert of Nyrbie. The elders told that the Goddess Sorahel came down here thousands of years ago to bring the mankind the gift of magic.

Now, nobody knows how this stoneformation with its giant sculpture on the top surroundet by green nature came arround. This magical Plants do not need any water and they are growing directly out the stone. Even unknown are the culture wich has built a city at the foot of the stone... but it is also a ruin today.

However, the watch of hope is a Oasis for traveler... a place of peace but also a plce of hidden magic and mythology

"From ice to sun" was my intention. So this is a rework of this old Illustration.



I really hope you like it! One more piece of my world...

Great work. You did an awesome job with on value, scale and choice of colors. Your painting technique is also great. Personaly I believe, the main structure is places a bit too central. Moving it a bit to the side would make an even stronger composition.
But I am only a beginner at environments - so I may be totaly wrong
