I.... have absolutely no idea what category to submit this to... This system is odd. PLEASE note, you won't see much of anything unless you do a full-view, and you'll see more if you press the download button! I'm serious here...

'Neeways, This is an old work... from a year ago. In fact, it was my midterm project for a class called "Digital Art Foundations." For me... it was a throw-away course. Seriously... I didn't learn anything other than to never take a class taught by this lady ever ever again.

This is the only project in that class I had trouble with, and only because the stupid school computers kept messing up my flash drive. ;^.^

The assignment was to start with file size of 22"x33". For those who need a visual, take eight pieces of normal printer paper and set them down into two rows of four. Then... the whole thing has to work as a single piece of art... and each separate page has to be able to work by itself, as well......

End result, a little busy, but I'm relatively happy with it. The repeating design around the border is a tattoo type design that's somewhere farther back in my gallery... too late at night to find out where. ;^.^

As for the technical details: The back-most, colorful layer was originally done in painter, and then imported into Illustrator. The rest of this piece was done entirely in Illustrator. And you can't see it, really, but there's words typed around the spirals.

Other notes: The work in the back and the words on the spirals refer to the history of a world called Arador that ~supremetechgoddess and I created.

Well, if I think of anything else to say, I'll edit this... otherwise, enjoy!
