they are suppose to be genderless but most make that Zekrom is male while Reshiram is considerd to ether male or female.

I've always viewed Zekrom as female. This is purely because of the asian philosophy of yin and yang. Yin (which means shade, or darkness btw.阴) is viewed as a feminine power while yang (light 阳) is viewed as masculine. This is why in a lot of asian mythology the moon is a female goddess while the sun is male. I won't go into yin and yang much more but there's all these crazy health thingos surrounding it (eg. eating more cool foods to increase your yin energy inside you and become more feminine)

Because of this I've viewed Zekrom as female and Reshiram as male because of their colours. Also the name Zekrom sounds feminine while Resihram is kinda masculine.

Also there's the fact that their designs are rather iffy. Reshiram has a large fluffy 'spike' in its groin area and Zekrom has a breast plate, hip plate and a REALLY slender waist. If you take their designs into account rather then just going "Reshiram is fluffy and cute! it must be a girl!" then you can see where I'm coming from.

Anyway, they're just pokemon and technically part of the same being so it's not really something to debate about much.

Where I think Zekrom is a male is purely because it looks like it has an armour on. Females really don't wear armour and I don't think Reshiram is a female because 'OH ITS SO CUTE AND FLUFFY' I think of it as a female because of it's sort of elegant features and N is not really the bad guy but that is what Nintendo wants him to be so bad guys would get black and the good guys would get white. Now if we were talking about Touya and N then I would be on the same page as you. Touko would get Reshiram and N would get Zekrom but if it was Touya instead of Touko then N would have Reshiram and Touya would have Zekrom mainly on manly perposes

Can't deny Zekrom's curvasciousness though XD Anyway, on the whole fluff thing, guy's generally have more body hair...well this is getting weird, next point.
You said that you view Reshiram as a female because of its 'elegant features' this may just be my artist eye but I think Zekrom is FAR more elegant than Reshiram, it has such smooth lines, everything fits together its design is graceful. The only thing I see as elegant on Reshiram is the ribbon sort of thing on its head and inside its tail.
Just look over their designs again while reading this comment and the previous one, all the very gender specific asects will really stick out. (Y U NO comment on yin and yang, that was like the centre of my arguement! XD Jks, it's fine.)
The last bit of your comment kinda confused me...
Like I said, a lot of my view was based on eastern philosophy whereas yours is clearly based on western philosophies. Although when you take into account universal philosophies or analise both then you'll still come to the conclusion that Zekrom is more feminine. However just by focusing on western philosophies, then it's obvious how people consider Reshiram as female. I try and analise both and see the universal zeitgeist/view. I think that eastern philosophies are more important in this context as pokemon is a japanese game and so eastern philosophies will have played a huge part on the making of these games, however pokemon black and white is supposedly set in an american-style setting (even though its japanese influences are very obvious) so I can assume a bit of western philosophy was incorporated in the creation of the game.
Anyway, in reference to your last sentence, Touya and Touko are pretty much the same person only that one has a...cough cough.
