Description
I love SHERLOCK HOLMES... when I saw this scene in the BBC show I knew I had to draw it! I completed this piece in charcoal, and was pretty pleased with the results, I intentionally made it reatively blurred and abstractish so to speak, since I was trying to convey emotion more than detail. The writing on the actual grave stone was my least favorite part of work. However due to a crappy camera and bad lighting am not a 100% pleased with what it looks like on the screen vs. on my paper. This picture was taken with the flash off.
