Ah, I love this beautiful picture so much! This is the sort of thing they meant when they said a picture is worth a thousand words. There is so much personality and so much going on in this single moment that you have captured so exquisitely. I love the colors and the style and how the boys are so contrasted. Thor with his dirty face and excited expression contrastsΒ brilliantly with the clean and reserved Loki across from him. You do a wonderful job conveying the differing personalities of the boys through their bouquets, too; I think if I had ran across this picture and had never seen the movies and had no idea who they were, I would be able to have a very good concept of each of their personalities.
There's also a sense of rivalry here that I think is appropriate for the boys. Both are presenting their mother with their own unique gift, and I kind of get a sense of each boy vying for Frigga's attention a bit. And yet it is abundantly clear from Frigga's gentle smile and the way she is including them both with a hand on each one's shoulders, that she loves them both dearly and that she is happy with both the gifts. I think she recognizes how different they are, but she doesn't care, which is the beautiful thing about Frigga.
Just all around a beautiful, emotionally-moving image. Seeing this has made my day

I know this was a really long time ago but I feel this accurately represents their personalities as children
Like Loki carefully picked out each flower and assorted them and made the bouquet as beautiful as possible because he wants to impress his momma and get her attention and Frigga is so happy that her hardworking, intelligent son put such effort into this beautiful gift that she's just in complete awe at how her little son is trying to impress her and make her happy.
And Thor found those daisies and got really excited because 'THOSE FLOWERS THERE REMIND ME OF MOTHER' and he wanted to show her them so he brought the daisies himself, and he didn't want to cut them so he just uprooted them and ran up to Frigga like 'LOOK MOTHER I FOUND THESE FLOWERS AND THEY ARE PRETTY AND BRIGHT JUST LIKE YOU' And Frigga doesn't care that they're dirty or even that he could have just shown her the flowers outside because she's happy her son looked at those flowers and thought of her and wanted to tell her so

I love how Loki diligently collected the flowers, while Thor just ripped them out from soil! Two ways to express the same love. Really touching and, as always, perfectly done!

I love the differences in their appearances. While Loki, the more sophisticated and formal got his mother flowers traditionally, neatly have them in a bouquet and presented wonderfully, Thor, on the other hand, has dug up a small patch of flowers just for her, sentiment still equal as Loki's. The love isn't divided equally. It's given without division.
