Is a T-800 model impersonating April?  That would be epic!

Yeah, it's pretty rare to come by in the USA.  It's from the United Kingdom back in the early 90s.  Fleetway's Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Adventures #50 .  Story title "April Android;" almost certainly piggybacking on the Terminator brand popularity!

That's pretty cool, I've never read the Archie comics I probably should start. They
definitely sound cooler than the 87+ cartoon.

I certainly recommend the Archie comics.  The American run is notable for its ambitious storytelling which at the time was pushing the envelope for what anybody would expect in a TMNT story.

As far as the UK comics, they usually alternated issues between reprinted American Archie comics and originally contracted material every couple of weeks.  The stories unique to the UK (the April Android is one) were just about always ridiculous... even more so than the actual cartoon.  But the artistic talent was the real treat and for that reason, I recommend them as well.

Personally, I love that 87 toon, so I won't necessarily say the comic is better than the show.
