Description
A cover to the 12 Gauge Comics book the Ride, Rico and i did a while ago, SCAD students did the insides (and I'm sure most of em are on DA now) and the proceeds went to the Sequential Art Scholarship Fund. Recently been looking at again, as we're doing some collage-ish covers that I'd like to be punchy without the overkill. This one is kind of alot, and we spent forever trying to hold it together.Related content

thanks Joe! means alot coming from you, the car you did in that story Rico colored is fuckin amazing, lots of shit id never thought of before-think i'm running out of car money-shots. yeah, uh, i inked this twice pretty much, over about 10 different pieces of paper, multiple versions of all the figures, just trying to hit all the details but keep it sloppy. the car and the building just the once, but the rest of it i really banged my head against the wall for.

There is a lot going on with this, but you're able to hold it together extremely well. With this many elements going on, it could be detrimental, but I think experience alows you to do something like that. I think my favorite part is the bottom half though, those eerie ghost hands plunging upward are fantastic. I could even just see a cover with just them!

shoot, i could put together a collage of that bottom half at least, i inked most of em twice, they didnt come easy. glad you dig sir! youre a beast!
