We have a Law & Order series here in the US. The UK made its own adaptation. Now, it's time to head to Asia.----------
As with all other L&O shows, Law & Order Japan follows the work of the Japanese Criminal Justice System; the officers of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD); and the lawyers of the Japanese Judicial System. Unlike the other shows, the officers in this series would often work with both defense lawyers and prosecutors rather than just the latter.

A rather new detective to the TMPD, and the central protagonist of the series. He is considered a unique detective within the office, as he has analytical skills, which allow him to determine if someone is telling the truth or a lie. Although he is praised for this, it has also made him a target for notable people.
