Chibi commission for AmalikaI deeply apologise for the long wait and thank you for being the most patient person on earth!
I had initially started it on paper so when I reached the coloring stage...*riiiiiip*
thank you so much for giving up on me A4! and the frustrating part was that I gently rubbed the eraser to the surface hoping this wouldn't happen...and it happened ππ«Thankfully I remembered that I had pictured my lineart on my phone before I added colors so I decided to re draw it digitally
it was back-breaking during the lineart because every swish and swoosh is being too rebellious to follow the lines! B( but alas it's done!Just as I finished it today I had to step back and admire the finished piece and cradle my fingers

Ahhh, I have to admit I was really doubting if the commission was in its coloring stage already, and especially after the last note I didn't expect a finished result. And while it's such a pity what happened to the original piece, I have to say that the digital version exceeds my expectations! o:
First of all, your idea for the commission is really adorable! I love the idea of her riding on a lollipop, that is really cute ;u; And interpreting her scarf as being longer also fits really well, because the composition is really great ovo The wrinkles in her scarf are wonderful by the way, and really spot-on!
But also Candice herself turned out really well ;u; She's so adorable! I really like the way you drew her eyes and the mouth. The eyes fit wonderfully well for a chibi >u< The pose is great and you definitely have the hang out of chibi proportions here ovo Also, that blush is too cute! ;u; I can also see that you put a lot of effort into coloring and I'm really happy with how you shaded this drawing. Especially her eyes really draw me in! o:
A shame you forgot the ponytail, but the overall drawing is so cute and well-executed that it's alright ;u;
Sorry for the last note that was already a bit impatient. All in all I can say that the wait was worth it! I would have wished for more communication, but as for the drawing itself, that one turned out better than I imagined so I'm really satisfied with the result ;u;
