Description
After the incident with Rubic's first....ride....Heather decided to start off the colt's twin sister a little differently. Riding a pegasus in high water makes it nearly impossible for them to take off (espically if it's a young, inexperienced horse) and so that was the way to go. Heather had already considered tying the wings, but with her horse being young and still rather wild, she was too worried that the filly would hurt herself trying to get free.

Toxic Tide was groomed and saddled up. Leading her into the water took a little coaxing, but it helped when she saw Waveplay, the water-mustang mare playing and swimming around like a fish.

Once the mare was in the water, Heather started going through the cues that until then she'd used with an aid from the ground. Horses in the Vale are still horses, they all have temperments and a tendency to spook when young, but training goes faster with them, because Heather can talk to them in their own language about what each cue means and what they're to do when they sense it. Soon Tide was walking and trotting, turning and halting on command.

Now that's an original way to train a hyper Pegasus! I like how you drew the water!

Yeah! And actually she has more hyper energy than her brother - that was why Rubic was ridden first -
