Ah you got me ! I'll be honest with you, I like the quote but I haven't read up any of A N Whitehead's works (got a copy of Science and the World which I should go read now) although we did mention him in philosophy class during ethics (the whiteheadian approach to future generations explained in what would probably be very simplistic stuff).
Like the quotes though ! And keep wrestling with mortality, you do nifty stuff
