Mario and Luigi - Superstar Saga is possibly my favorite GBA game ever, and by far one of the best RPGs on the console ( SNES Final Fantasy ports don't really count ). This is a tribute to the game and of my own take on the Mario Bros and Cackletta, I originally planned to have Peasley and Fawful there, but I ended up scratching that, maybe I'll do another one for Partners in Time and do my best to make that one as complicated as possible.I'm actually kinda satisfied with the background here, the colors I picked are very similar to the color palette of most of the in game sprites, also, yes, I know that in the battle screen Luigi is the one who stays at the left/front of the screen, but I felt that Mario should be the one standing out, especially since Luigi's green colors would blend too much with the background and make the whole drawing "too green and blue".

As I said in that Cave Story piece I keep saying you have the best art of a respecting game I have ever seen, and this and the PiT tribute are by far my favorite things I've found in your gallery so far, not just because those two are some of my favorite games ever made (Superstar Saga is in my top five and is also my favorite GBA game if it weren't for Pokemon RSE) but because these just are damn amazing pieces. I love the entire composition in this you got the kooky and iconic design of the M&L series and the BeanBean Kingdom and translated it oh so perfectly to your badass personal style, especially that Cackletta holy cow do I love how she looks!!!! Awesome work man, incorporating the battle system into teh overall layout was an awesome idea, this is just rad.

So you're saying that you can draw Sonic characters, Zelda characters, Kingdom Hearts characters, Mega Man characters, etc. But Mario characters? Nope, that's where you fuck up. -_-

Could you please be a bit more specific? I can take criticism, however, something like "you fuck up" won't really help me get better as an artist.

That game was my favorite RPG on GBA! All the Mario charm along with great humor! I'd say this was like one of the few RPGs I had more than 2 playthroughs.

Éba! Também era um dos meus jogos favoritos do gba. O luigi era a minha personagem favorita por ser muito engraçado xD. Podiam era fazer um jogo desse género agora para a wii u em vez de fazerem sempre para as consolas portáteis. Tipo paper mario 64 (jogo fod@ pra caraiba!).
O desenho ficou épico xD Adoro o teu estilo diferente. Só não gostei muito foi dos tendões que você meteu no Mario e no Luigi. Acho que ficaram estranhos.

Hm, não tenho certeza, acho que um jogo do tipo Mario & Luigi deve ser meio desconfortável jogar num console ( eu não consegui aguentar jogar num emulador, tava muito acostumado com levar um console portátil pro quarto e jogar na cama rs ), mas sei lá, é possível, afinal eles lançaram um Paper Mario pra 3ds né?
Ah e... pode ser um pouco mais específico quanto aos tendões? Eu estava pensando em fazer outras fanarts pra Partners in Time e Bowser's Inside Story ( nunca joguei Dream Team então vou deixar esse de fora ) e umas críticas do que posso fazer pra melhorar ajudariam.

Se fizessem para o console não teria de ser necessariamente no mesmo estilo, desde que seja um rpg do mario. Até podiam dar um uso legal ao gamepad.
Eu estava a falar daqueles traços que aparecem nos músculos do M e do L. Talvez o nome seja nervos em vez de tendões xD
