You're very welcome.
Well, I still think it's the best artwork of Spock I've seen.

He also took us In Search of as well, weither it was boldly going where no man has gone before, directing, or telling us the truth about ghosts, ancient civilizations, or even Dracula, we'll always remember.

Fascinating.
Nimoy really wore his wore his fame with good humor and grace and used it to great advantage for us all, the first run shows still are highly entertaining especially when Nimoy would steal the scene with a characteristic deadpan quip or the signature arching of a single eyebrow. A life well lived will always be well remembered.
Good job!

It's also the only tribute pic so far that I've wanted to favourite or comment on (not sure why exactly).
Back in the day, I never wanted to be Kirk; I tended to flip between Spock and Scotty.

I envy you for being there from the beginning. I was only 3 when the show first hit the airwaves. Nimoy in the convention asked us how many were there from the beginning - many were there from the start of the show.

That was my first ever sci-fi convention; we piled up into three cars and drove from Indianapolis to St. Louis for the event, chatting with each other on CB's on the way. It was a hotel that sat almost right under the arch.

Truly, you are a lucky man. Not only getting to meet Leonard Nimoy, but also meeting DeForest Kelley before his passing. Recently, I learned that William Shatner refused to appear onstage with James Doohan. According to George Takei, Shatner said he "didn't want to deal with that Alzheimer's crap," which was what Mr. Doohan was suffering from in his final months of life. Having learned of this, Bill Shatner just went up another notch on my crap list!

I have heard nothing good at all about Shatner; I met a fellow security guard that had a detail with him, and told me that he drank so much that he was "tore up." when he met him. His wife that drowned was from just up the street - he got his marriage license for her up the road in Lebanon, Indiana, where Nancy and I did.
Sadly, I've also shaken hands with David Carradine, and was also very un-impressed with him.

I'll still watch Shatner's old TV appearances such as "Star Trek," but I'll have nothing to do with him personally. Insulting a former co-star who was engulfed with Alzheimer's disease was the last straw for me!
As for David Carradine, (and I'm not surprised that he made a poor impression on you) he was as nutty as a can of Planters! The fact that he died during an auto-erotic asphyxiation rite pretty much backs up my belief that he was demented.

Yeah, that is gross - he only died about three months after I met him. He just struck me as someone who had eaten so much acid that there wasn't much left of him.

LSD will erode a person's mind after too much usage. And let us not forget Art Linkletter's daughter who, in the midst of an LSD trip, jumped out of a second story window thinking she could fly. LSD is a truly devastating substance that, if the trip it induces doesn't make the user kill him/herself, then it definitely will leave the user a mental and emotional wreck, not to mention possible chromosome damage.

I've never forgotten what Carl Jung said about LSD in one of his books. He compared taking acid to being opened up for surgery, and being left open that way. I've also heard too many stories from friends that have tried it; the stuff just messes with the arithmetic-logic center of the brain. I've just never had any real interest in using myself as a pharmacology experiment.

Dr. Jung wasn't too far off in his assessment of LSD's effects on the human thought process. We're also learning from established medical science that marijuana also can have detrimental effects on the human mind, including, but not limited to schizophrenia as well as destroying IQ points from prolonged use. And as for this "medical marijuana" stuff, it's pure bullhockey! It's just a dodge created so that the stoners can get high legally. As a former medical professional, I side with a growing number of medical doctors and researchers who are proving that marijuana has no real medical value at all!
